An Research of the Effect of Socio-Economic Elements in the overall game of Golf

The object of my paper is to analyze how players of diverse races, gender, age, and cultural statuses have impacted golf in america at the PGA and LPGA level, so that it is what it really is today. I chose this topic because so various players like Vijay Singh, Michelle Wie, Se Ri Pak, Annika Sorenstam, and PADRAIG HARRINGTON are making their method in record as phenomenal players in golf. They are changing golf by breaking information and setting new standards everyday. I believe this topic is vital that you look at because golfing is a game that is around and played for quite some time. For years it was a casino game that was always seen as a white man's sport, however over time the overall game has changed to add different minorities and genders.

First, lets have a look at how competition has impacted golf. Golf was a casino game that was once referred to as one played by wealthy Caucasians. Most early golfers were made up of British and Americans, which were Caucasian. In the 1960s, the fantastic well-known golfers, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus (both Caucasians) were frequently seen near the top of the scoreboard. In 1961, the PGA finally withdrew its "white's only" rule, permitting golfers of diverse minorities to play. Vijay Singh was among these initial well-recognized golfers to enter in to the game of golfing. Singh acquired an exemption on the U.S. PGA Tour in the summertime of 1993, and is currently a member of both PGA and European Tours. The PGA Tour and LPGA Tour in the United States
